Our parish is looking for a Coordinator of Religious Education.
Essential Functions and Tasks
- Creates and implements a comprehensive and systematic catechetical plan for children, youth and adults based on the Archdiocese's plan.
- Develops sacramental preparation.
- Works with parents to ensure the support and involvement of the family in catechetical programs.
- Implements catechetical policies and curriculum of the Archdiocese of Miami.
- Directs the parish catechetical programs from adults to children. This includes: RCIA and Adult Confirmation.
- Oversees School Sacraments
This is a dynamic position and a background in teaching would be beneficial.
